GROUND LEVEL CAFE
"Welcome to the ground level of our church, where we are building a family based on creativity, community, and really good coffee! Ground Level is a space for us to come together and love our neighbors, our selves, and our God, authentically and organically through music and art. Have something to say? Come tell us! Or, just come soak up the great local music, yummy café drinks, and good vibes! First Friday of the month from 7-10pm."
Beechwood Church is seeking a dynamic, Bible-believing pastor who is willing to pour his life into a full-time ministry against all odds. We offer a building with no debt, the credibility of the church’s enduring legacy of faith, and a fledgling but sweet-hearted small congregation.
A Member of the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference
The Conservative Congregational Christian Conference is a theologically conservative denomination believing in the autonomy of each local church under the Headship of Christ. We are comprised of churches that flow from various streams of history including Congregational, Christian, Evangelical and Reformed and independent Community churches.
The CCCC is solidly committed to the basic doctrines of the Christian faith, but allow for diversity in those areas where Christians have tended to disagree.
As an evangelical denomination, the CCCC is fervently committed to evangelism, church planting and missions for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Hi. Welcome to Beechwood. We’re glad you’re here.
We are a small, loving community of followers of Jesus who love God and love people. We know that our fallen world needs a savior – and we have discovered that Jesus Christ is the one and only way for us to be restored to our Heavenly Father. This truth is the message of the Bible, a divinely inspired collection of writings that God himself authored to show his children the way home.
Since you’re probably wondering what our church is like, let me give you a quick tour. Our small church sits nestled in a quiet, friendly corner of Cohasset, Massachusetts. This is where we gather regularly to know and worship God and to equip ourselves to go out and love others and help spread the good news about what Jesus has done for our broken world.
Around 9:15 AM on Sunday morning our bell rings out from its steeple tower with an old fashioned call to worship. Meanwhile, Ted, Cheryl, Ed, and others are busy readying the sanctuary and getting some coffee going down in the café.
All the while, Kathy is at the keyboard playing a few worship tunes to set a reverent tone as we all prepare our hearts for our service. After an opening prayer at 9:30 AM, she will lead us in a worship time with a blend of contemporary and historic songs.Read More
